Forerunner Island by DarklordIIID Forerunner Island by DarklordIIID
Been awhile since I did anything like this. It probably gets repetitive, but I canít help myself, I adore forerunner architecture. I have another in the worlds, incorporating more of the new elements and styles introduced in Halo 4.

Anyway, herre we have a collection of previously used Forerunner assets I have on hand, collected together into one picture. That tower in the back left, I donít even know how many times Iíve used it. Hehe.

Enjoy, and thanks for looking as always.

Absolutely amazing work. I also admire Forerunner architecture. The quality of the textures, water and reflections are incredible.

The only thing I can criticise about this piece is that it is too bright.

Yeah, lighting in Vue is still largely a mystery to me.  Once I'm done with school I'm going to dedicate more time to learning it properly.

From what I have seen of your work, it certainly wont take you long to learn. Keep up the great work.

ho-ly-shit o.O Although the image looks a bit unsharp (probably because of my crappy monitor) this is amazing! Have you ever considered animating these things? Like a fly-by of an installation or shield-world? Would love to see that also. :D

I've got lots of ideas for animations, but I need to build a rendering server first. :) Can't afford to tie up my main rig for long enough to render one.

I'm hopeful to get one set up in the next year.
